Giving Back
The Helmkamp Cares Foundation is comprised of an employee-based committee created to manage the charitable requests that Helmkamp Construction receives on a regular basis. Helmkamp Cares allows us to allocate charitable giving based on the initiatives our employees are collectively most passionate about.
We encourage all employees and customers to participate in charitable giving. Volunteering time or contributing financially helps those organizations to succeed for the good of the local communities where we all live and work.
2025 Matching Program
This year, Helmkamp Construction lost our founder's son & former owner, Jack Helmkamp, to Alzheimer's disease. Unfortunately, Alzheimer's and dementia have severely affected several of our team's family members over the years and as a result, it has been important to us to sponsor the Edwardsville, IL Walk to End Alzheimer's for the last 16 years in a row.
As we go into the holiday giving season for 2025, we are launching a matching program to run through December 19, 2025 in Jack's honor. Helmkamp will be matching all donations made to the Alzheimer's Association of Greater Missouri during this time up to $10,000. Please help us ensure this initiative results in $20,000 or more to this organization by donating today.

2025 Maximum Impact Donations
Each year, part of the Helmkamp Cares Foundation's program is to evaluate the current program needs of local organizations whose missions align with the community efforts our employees care about most. These efforts are typically focused on combating major health concerns, the needs of children, and veterans or first responders. Each organization is vetted by our committee and if approved, awarded $20,000.
Since the foundation's inception in 2019, Helmkamp Cares has awarded three Maximum Impact Awards each year. These donations represent half of the committee's annual giving budget. Congratulations to the most recent recipients of these donations pictured below.
